We make bespoke hookbaits using old school bait flavours that pioneered bait making in the 80s and 90s. These flavours are no longer in production but have a fantastic reputation of catching fish. At Silty Pigs we also create our own flavour blends some inspired by rare old school flavours.
All our baits are handmade from start to finish in the UK using only the highest quality ingredients. Silty Pigs don't use preservatives we air dry baits for lengthy amounts of time and rehydrate with flavours curing the bait. The turn around for our baits is slightly longer due to this method, but we believe this is the best way of making handmade bespoke baits. It allows us to maximise on liquid attractors giving you the ultimate edge.
We believe in creating the best baits for carp anglers which are ‘DESIGNED TO CATCH CARP NOT THE ANGLER’. We strongly believe fishing is not just a hobby but a community for all ages. Our baits aim to bring back nostalgia of original difficult to source flavours and to introduce the new generation to this experience.
